Purpose of project:

TheNxtStep was tasked with helping to build relationships in the North Sea renewable energy sector between The Netherlands and the UK.

The focal point was a roundtable with C-suite, Trade bodies, academics and Government related individuals from both countries.

Our Approach: 

In preparation for the event TheNxtStep identified and engaged stakeholders including delegates, relevant Government departments in both countries, trade bodies and politicians. 

We designed, facilitated and organised both a study trip for the participants and the roundtable itself.​

Outcomes: 

The two delegations (UK and NL) collaboratively formulated recommendations to the North Seas European Corperation meeting (chaired by the Dutch minister of Energy Rob Jetten) to create the conditions to get to an integrated renewable energy system on the North Sea.
